L.Y.M.I.T. Robot Head

The L.Y.M.I.T. Robot is the PANYC State mascot and will be making appearances often so keep your eye out for him. They say robots will soon take over the world and that robots are our future, but, although robots are SUPER cool to us nerds, they can for the most part only perform the tasks for which they were programmed, a thoughtless drone. We believe the idea behind PANYC State is the future of urban fashion, and, because we encourage our customers to stop and really think about our designs, our robot has a brain. We are unique, everyone in the world is unique, and our robot is definitely NOT cookie cutter. This design incorporates a couple other symbols important to us at PANYC State. The headphones cover the ears and block out all of the bad in the world around you, and they also symbolize the origin of most of the ideas that spark PANYC State designs. The lightning bolt symbolizes idea generation and thought much like the light bulb in our childhood cartoons. We use the bolt because lightning is a much stronger and more radical form of energy than can be found in any ordinary light bulb, and, unlike a light bulb which can light up a room, one lightning bolt has the potential to light up the entire night sky.
