Which shoes should be used for dancing?

Hi,

My question is pretty simple. Which shoes should be used for dancing? Especially, when we talk about the ballet dance, proper attention needs to be paid to the form of shoes we are going to wear. Different people have different opinion about it, I would like to have your thoughts on this.

I guess flat sneaker types of shoes would be the best option..

I think shoes having heels are more incomfortable for dancing than any other type of shoe. It is from my own experience. So, you can wear any other type of shoe except heel ones.
