            Fashionista’s mourned the end of the Sex and the City television show and its fabulous contribution to fashion and styling. Rumor’s of a Sex and the City prequel floated around for a while last year, but no official statement has been made until now. The CW has officially ordered a pilot episode of The Carrie Diaries.

            The producers who brought us hit shows like Gossip Girl and Hart of Dixie are said to be behind the new series. The only character to appear in the prequel series will be Samantha Jones. Here’s to hoping Carrie was just as stylish in the 80s as she was later on.
